What is card ripping?

Ripping is the collector's word for opening a sealed product: the tear of the wrapper, the first glimpse of a foil, the second it takes to know whether the card in your hand is a keeper. It is the most fun part of collecting and, historically, the most expensive way to acquire a specific card.

GenZ keeps the moment and removes the waste. Every pack you open here is a digital pack backed by a pool of real, professionally graded cards that already sit in our vault. When you open one, the draw picks a physical card from that pool and reserves it to you. There is no printing, no pulling of duplicates you do not want, and no guessing what a pack is worth.

Why graded cards?

A graded card has been authenticated and scored by an independent grading company, then sealed in a tamper-evident holder. That gives three things a raw pack cannot: the card is genuine, its condition is known, and its market value is easy to look up. It is why we can publish a minimum value and a buyback offer for every pack.

What makes GenZ different from a loot box?
